Subscription in support of artist debuts
Your subscription to the events in the cultural calendar of The Red House will support the first appearance on stage of а Bulgarian author.
Why your support is important:
It is most difficult to make your first steps on stage because:
1. The places that take the risk to show unknown authors are rare.
2. Sometimes renting a rehearsal room is not an easy thing to do.
3. If you have talent, but you don't have "the necessary contacts", there is a risk that your ideas will go unnoticed.
This is why The Red House invites young artists to apply for our series "Debuts on the Edge" – a project supporting the first appearance on stage of independent Bulgarian authors – so that talented Bulgarian artists who do not have the financial means can have a chance to meet their audience and develop their talent.

You can support the debuts of young artists with three types of subscription and a donation:
- 1Full Season SubscriptionMake a subscription for all performances happening during one season, from September to July. The amount of the subscription is 60 BGN and it gives you access to all theatre productions, performances, screenings, concerts and dance shows.
- 2Half Season SubscriptionMake a subscription for half a season – from September to January or from February to July, at the price of 30 BGN.
- 3Gift a subscription
Gift a full or half season subscription to a friend who is studying or working in the field of art or would simply be happy to have access to modern performance art. - 4DonateMake a donation of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 or 100 BGN without buying a subscribtion. More about Debuts on the Edge
So far, the debut programme of The Red House has shown over 300 debut performances. The programme has been among the first to show the work of contemporary artists like Galina Borissova, Ida Daniel, Ivo Dimchev, Villy Prager and Iva Sveshtarova, Neda Sokolovska, Krassen Krustev and theatrical formations like Replica Theatre and "36 monkeys".
